Chris Brown is a liar, Karrueche is not even my type-Drake Says.
Drake is mad that Chris Brown mentioned his name in
his problems with Karrueche. He says there’s no truth
to the dating allegations. Chris had accused Karrueche
of cheating on him with Drake…
From TMZ
Drake is furious that Chris Brown has used
him as a scapegoat in his breakup with
Karrueche Tran … deflecting his own
responsibility by suggesting she was his side
piece.
Brown re-ignited his feud with Drake by
Instagraming Saturday that Drake secretly
dated Karrueche earlier this year while Chris
rotted away in a jail cell.
Sources connected with Drake say there’s
no truth to the dating allegation … he says
Karrueche isn’t even his type.
As one source puts it, “Drake’s an a*s man.
Think about it, all the strippers he gets with
… the first out of his type was Rihanna .”
Drake acknowledges he hung out with
Karrueche in Toronto … but only because
she was friends with a girl who he was
hooking up with.
Karrueche has jumped into the fray …
claiming Chris repeatedly “mistreated” her.
Given the Rihanna backdrop, that word is
loaded.
Ronaldo (CR7) Sets hat-trick Record
Ronaldo sets hat-trick record
Cristiano Ronaldo’s record-breaking hat-trick helped Real
Madrid equal another Spanish league milestone in a 3-0
win over Celta Vigo on Saturday, AFP reports.
His 23rd career hat trick in La Liga gave him one more
treble than greats Alfredo Di Stefano and Telmo Zarra.
Ronaldo’s 21st, 22nd and 23rd goals through 14 rounds
also ensured Madrid claimed its 18th consecutive victory
across all competitions under coach Carlo Ancelotti,
matching a mark for Spanish teams established by
Barcelona in 2005-06.
Madrid maintained the league lead, four points ahead of
Atletico Madrid after the defending champions won 2-0 at
Elche and before Barcelona played Espanyol on Sunday.
Ronaldo opened at the Santiago Bernabeu from the penalty
spot in the 36th minute after he fell following light contact
with a defender. He struck again in the 65th and 81st.
“It’s a privilege to play with (Ronaldo),” Madrid defender
Sergio Ramos said. “You would have to invent words to
describe him. He may be in his best moment.”
Ronaldo received a standing ovation when substituted late,
after taking his overall tally to 29 goals in 21 games this
season.
He led the Spanish league with 31 goals last season.
Lionel Messi holds the record for the most goals in a Liga
campaign with 50 in 2011-12.
Ronaldo is already well on pace to repeat not only as the
league’s top scorer – Neymar is second with 11 – but he is
also making a strong bid to defend his award for the
world’s best player.
Madrid’s commanding win was marred only by losing
James Rodriguez, who asked to be changed and walked
off the pitch in the 53rd.
Celta defender Gustavo Cabral suffered a more painful
injury later and had to be carried off.
Ronaldo flirted with the goal in the 18th when he looped
an acrobatic bicycle kick onto the top of the net before he
tested Sergio Alvarez with a strike from Marcelo’s pass.
Marcelo continued to torment Celta’s defense with his
incursions from the left flank, and his cross led to the
opening goal when Ronaldo collapsed after defender
Jonathan “Jonny” Castro touched his arm.
“It was a little unfair, we were in the game until then,”
Jonny said. “I touched him but he fell at the last moment.”
Celta’s Fabian Orellana finally threatened with a curling
shot that missed the post one minute after halftime, but
Ronaldo sealed the win by stabbing home the ball after
Madrid hemmed Celta into its box.
He got his third goal from another cross by Marcelo,
expertly using his left boot to score.
Atletico churned out the win at Elche with defender Jose
Gimenez firing in the first goal in the 17th to end a
dizzying series of one-touch passes by Siqueira, Jorge
“Koke” Resurreccion and Arda Turan from a set piece.
Striker Mario Mandzukic finished Elche off in the 53rd by
sprinting onto Gabi Fernandez’s lob and firing the ball
inside the post.
Also, promoted Cordoba’s 42-year wait for a top-tier
victory finally ended by winning 1-0 at Athletic Bilbao,
while Malaga won 1-0 at Deportivo La Coruna to rest in
sixth place overnight.
Cordoba hadn’t won in 13 league games this season after
returning to the top flight for the first time since 1972.
Boko Haram abducts 20 more girls in Borno. ..
The Boko Haram sect has reportedly abducted over 20
girls in Lassa, a town in Borno State.
Quoting a member of the community, Daniel Ibrahim,
SaharaReporters stated that the Boko Haram sect also
killed many people, mostly old men and women, before
they kidnapped the women.
SaharaReporters also stated that a security source
confirmed the report.
“They [Boko Haram] abducted more than 20 girls from our
town and killed many people, mostly old men and
women,” the online medium quoted Ibrahim.
Ibrahim, who said he survived the attack, revealed that the
insurgents had been advancing toward Lassa since late
November but had met stiff resistance from local fighters
until Wednesday.
He said the insurgents attacked the town last Wednesday
with a variety of heavy weaponry, including tanks and
explosives. They were finally able to overwhelm the local
opposition and capture the town.
“They burnt almost half of the town before they left. Those
of us who were lucky fled, but they massacred aged ones
and the younger men they could catch,” the source stated.
He said the town fell to the insurgents because the
residents’ appeals to security agencies to deploy more
troops and to step up land and air operations were
ignored.
“That’s why the town is now in the hands of Boko
Haram,” he said.
A senior military officer attached to the 7th Division of the
Nigerian Army based in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno
State, confirmed that the military was aware of the
development in Lassa.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has said that
Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, has been thrown
into complete blackout as a result of the activities of the
Boko Haram sect.
Government said the major power substation that supplied
electricity to the city had been blown off by the sect on
more than one occasion.
Minister of State for Power, Mr. Mohammed Wakil, said
engineers from the Transmission Company of Nigeria had
fixed the substation and other vandalised installations in
the past, adding that the military had advised the ministry
to refrain from visiting the area as it was a “danger zone.”
The minister spoke to journalists in Abuja.
He said, “If you can recall clearly you will know that the
first local government they (Boko Haram) took over was
Damboa. That is my local government. Now because of
the crossfire they had with the battalion, they ended up in
not only vandalising some of the power installations in the
region but they also burnt the major substation in that city.
“That substation in Damboa is one of the biggest
substations in the North and it links Gombe with
Maiduguri. That led to the collapse of power in Maiduguri
and the city is in blackout. I summoned the TCN and
talked to them that they must restore power in the area.
The TCN mobilised its team and were ready, but that area
is a danger zone.”

An airport security source told the Sunday
Express: “We’ve been told that five planes
are being targeted in a high profile hit
before Christmas. They’ve been waiting for
the big one.
“We have many scares but this one nearly
got hand baggage pulled from all airlines.
The threat is still alive and real.”
The plot, which has been known about for
the past two months, is thought to involve
Islamists smuggling bombs on to planes
bound for major European destinations
before Christmas.
Boko Haram now uses Cows to launch attacks.
Security agents have discovered that
insurgent group, Boko Haram has
launched a new strategy of bomb attacks
and are now using cows as moving IED’s.
The Federal government yesterday said the
insurgents have strapped bombs to cows
and herded the cows to human settlements
before detonating the explosives.
Boko Haram has been terrorizing the nation
since 2009.
The Director General of National Orientation
Agency (NOA), Mr. Mike Omeri, who is also
the Coordinator of the National Information
Centre (NIC), revealed this at a press
briefing in Abuja but did not say if this
method has been used by the insurgents.
He also talked on the situation in the North
east and said: “ The situation in Yobe and
Maiduguri is calm… The situation has
returned to normal. “Like Maiduguri, the
insurgents have resorted to other means of
invading society, and that is why they now
use bombs; they strap bombs around
human beings.
“Sometimes, they strap bombs around
cows, and push them to settlements. “That
is why we have been calling for more
vigilance and total collaboration and
cooperation among citizens. “We urge all
citizens to be patient, when you are
subjected to searches and checks; it is
something that we have to live with.
“It happens all over the world, especially
when we are faced with what we have.” On
the Federal Government’s renewed alliance
with Russia, in a bid to buy arms after the
United States, its traditional arms supplier
had frustrated efforts to acquire certain
categories of arms, Omeri said: “Nigeria
buys arms from all over the world and we
have been buying arms from the Eastern
bloc for a long time.
Nigeria has been figting Insurgent group,
Boko Haram since 2009 and have been
having mixed results for the past couple of

Why I am in JSS 1 at the age of 42. strong will and determination. (.Photo).
Mrs. Juliana Godwin with her son,
Sam Godwin, in front of Junior Secondary School, Gosa, Abuja.
Mrs. Juliana Godwin, a 42-year-old Junior
Secondary School I (JSSI) student of Junior
Secondary School, Gosa, Abuja, has become
one of those persons with strong will to
change her condition.
Mrs. Godwin, who hails from Riyom in Riyom
Local Government Area of Plateau State, had
her education stalled by lack of sponsorship, a
situation that made her to drop out, in 1983,
of LEA Primary School, Riyom.
“I had to leave for Jos in 1983, since my
father could no longer sponsor my education
to secondary school because he had no
money. While I was with my cousin, I enrolled
in a tailoring shop to learn dress making. I
completed it within a year and six months”,
she told Sunday Vanguard.
In 2001, she and her children left Jos to join
her husband in Abuja, where they live at Gosa
village, along Airport Road.
An industrious woman, Godwin became the
bread-winner of her family. Since had skill in
hair plaiting, that became a source of
livelihood for her and the family. Later she
ventured into hawking of water in a basin in
Gosa market to boost the family’s income.
“In 2003, I was able to save some money from
water hawking. I started pepper and tomato
business with N1,000 from the savings. I also
went into corn roasting business, but my
husband stopped me from the business in
2007,” she said.
In 2008, Godwin decided to go into vocational
training with a non-governmental organisation
called Refocusing Nigerian Talents
Organisation, RENITO, where she was trained
in soap (liquid, medicated and bar), pomade
and disinfectants production.
“Now I can produce and sell the products I
was trained on, and I started with N1,500”,
Mrs. Godwin narrated.
“I came to realise that the business was
lucrative and helpful to me and my family. I
decided to make savings towards going back
to school after I dropped out in 1983.
“My husband was against my decision and
quarrelled seriously with me. But I didn’t give
up on my decision. In 2013, I went on to enrol
at Junior Secondary School, Gosa, Airport
Road, Abuja, where I started in JSS I F. I was
able to raise N10, 000 to pay for admission
expenses.
“Why I decided to start from JSSI was
because I had never in my life stepped into
the four walls of a secondary school. I told
myself I will start from JSS I, as it will help me
to have the foundation of secondary school
education and to understand what I would be
taught.
“My principal was surprised and asked me
whether I could cope with secondary school
education as an adult and a married woman.
He and the staff also encouraged me to
continue since I had made up my mind. But
my husband continued making trouble to stop
me”.
She wants her teachers and principal to treat
her just like other students notwithstanding
her age or as a mother, because she wishes
pass through the school system, and is ready
to accept every academic and moral discipline
that will shape her future.
“I am the oldest person in the class of 80
students. I participate in every school activity,
and I am happy with that. Even when I come
late to school, the teachers do punish me just
like other students, and I have no problem
with that, but I do behave myself as an adult.”
She is a mother of four children, who she
sponsors to the tune of N9,700 in a session
while she also takes care of the family’s
upkeep. “I have seen great changes in my life,
and I am coping seriously. My aim is to study
marketing in the university after I would have
completed my senior secondary education”,
she added.

Chelsea eye new record!
Jose Mourinho described Chelsea’s season as perfect
during the week and it is hard to argue with his review.
The Blues travel north to Newcastle having equalled a club
record of 23 games unbeaten in all competitions on
Wednesday and will break new ground should they avoid
defeat at St James’ Park.
Mourinho would love nothing more than to equal his old
foe Arsene Wenger’s achievement of going through a
whole Premier League campaign undefeated, though he
will be wary of his poor record on Tyneside.
In four previous trips to St James’ Park in the Premier
League, he has never tasted victory (D2 L2). A first win at
the ground on Saturday will have Chelsea fans dreaming of
reaching May with an unblemished record.

Zimbabwe's Mugabe anger over Joyce Mujuru ' death plot'
Robert Mugabe told delegates he welcomed the fact that
his wife had exposed his deputy's plot
Zimbabwe's president has spoken of his anger that his
embattled deputy Joyce Mujuru allegedly plotted to
assassinate him and accused her of being a thief.
Speaking at the ruling Zanu-PF party's congress, Robert
Mugabe said he would act against all corrupt officials.
Mrs Mujuru's absence from the congress showed she was
"scared", he added.
Recently expelled Zanu-PF member Rugare Gumbo told
the BBC the 90-year-old leader had "completely" turned
the party into his "personal property".
Mr Mugabe had targeted Mrs Mujuru to advance the
"fortunes" of his wife Grace, the former Zanu-PF
spokesman added.
Mrs Mujuru, who has previously denied the allegations, had
been seen as a potential successor to Mr Mugabe, with
whom she fought for Zimbabwe's independence from
white-minority rule.
Many Zanu-PF members are still fiercely loyal to Mr
Mugabe
Thousands of delegates attended the congress
However, her career ran into trouble when Mrs Mugabe
entered into politics this year, and accused her of plotting
against her husband.
The congress, being held in the capital Harare, is expected
to elect the first lady as the head of Zanu-PF's women's
wing.
'Bribing delegates'
Mr Mugabe, who has ruled Zimbabwe since independence
in 1980, will remain as Zanu-PF leader.
He told thousands of delegates that he welcomed the fact
that his wife had exposed Mrs Mujuru's attempt to oust
him.
"Thieves never succeed... look at all the transgressions.
Her corruption is now exposed," Mr Mugabe said.
Lebanon holding IS leader's daughter and ex-wife.
Lebanon said the woman in detention had been married to
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for three months
DNA tests confirm Lebanon is holding the young
daughter of Islamic State (IS) leader Abu Bakr al-
Baghdadi, the country's interior minister says.
Nohad Machnouk told Lebanon's MTV television that the
child's mother, who is also in custody, was now believed
to be one of Baghdadi's ex-wives.
On Tuesday, Lebanese security officials said they had
detained his wife and son at a border crossing with Syria.
But Iraq's government later insisted the woman was not
married to Baghdadi.
It said the woman - identified as Saja al-Dulaimi - was the
daughter of an active member of al-Qaeda's affiliate in
Syria, al-Nusra Front.
She is also thought to have been detained by the Syrian
authorities before being freed in March as part of a prisoner
exchange with al-Nusra.
Pregnant
Late on Wednesday, Mr Machnouk told MTV that Ms
Dulaimi had been travelling with two sons and a daughter
when they were detained by the army two weeks ago.
"Dulaimi is not Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's wife currently. She
has been married three times: first to a man from the
former Iraqi regime, with whom she had two sons," he
said.
"Six years ago she married Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for three
months, and she had a daughter with him. Now, she is
married to a Palestinian and she is pregnant with his
child."
The minister added: "We conducted DNA tests on her and
the daughter, which showed she was the mother of the
girl, and that the girl is [Baghdadi's] daughter, based on
DNA from Baghdadi from Iraq."
It is not clear how the Iraqi authorities have the IS leader's
DNA. However, in 2005 he was arrested by US forces in
Iraq and spent the next four years a prisoner at Camp
Bucca, near the southern town of Um Qasr, before being
handed over to the Iraqi authorities and then released.
Mr Machnouk said Ms Dulaimi's children were staying at a
care centre while she was being interrogated at the defence
ministry's headquarters.
IS has not commented on their detention, but al-Nusra has
condemned it.
One Lebanese official has said it is a "powerful card to
apply pressure" in negotiations with IS and al-Nusra, who
are holding more than 20 Lebanese soldiers and police
hostage. They are threatening to kill them unless militants
are freed from Lebanese jails.

Nigeria to get N88.7bn Abacha loot from the state of New Jersey.
The loot of late dictator General Sani Abacha still
remain in parts in several states around the world,
despite the fact that Nigeria has already recovered over
$1 billion. The new sum expected is about N88.7
billion.
State of Jersey, the biggest territory in the Channels
Island, is set to return £315 million Abacha loot to
Nigeria. The Island state had previously been returned
to Nigeria in two tranches £140 million of the loot.
Micheal Birt, the Ballif of Jersey, disclosed this at a
dinner in honour of Dr Dalhatu Tafida, Nigerian High
Commissioner to the UK during a state visit to the
Island.
Birt, who doubles as the Island’s Civic Head of State
and ceremonial head, is the highest ranking official in
the Jersey order of precedence.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the
money was laundered on behalf of Abacha by Mr Raj
Bhojwani, an Indian businessman, who is currently
serving an eight-year sentence in a UK prison.
Birt said that the decision of the State to return the
loot was in line with ongoing campaign against money
laundering. The Island is known globally for its
transparent banking services, but the perception that it
is safe for money laundering is building up.
“We have done a lot to clean up the image of the
Island as a safe haven for stolen wealth. What we have
in place is a transparent and legal finance heaven
where only legal funds can be deposited and accessed
by investors.”
Tafida commended Birt for the Island’s transparent
banking sector, and informed them of government’s
commitment to fighting corruption and strengthening
its anti-graft agencies.
He also emphasized Nigeria’s impressive economic
growth and high return on investment rate.
“The array of investment opportunities that abound in
the country and generous incentives available to
investors in all sectors of the economy, has continued
to make it a global investment destination,” Tafida
said.
