The Chairman of Stallion Group, Mr. Sunil

milestone in the history of Nigeria’s
evolving automotive industry, urging

discounted price to patronize certified
made-in-Nigeria Hyundai vehicles.
Osama Bin Laden killing: US Navy Seal Row over shooting.
Osama Bin Laden killing: US Navy Seals row over shooting
Retired US Navy Seal Robert O'Neill says he
killed Bin Laden with shots to the head
A public row has arisen over which US
commando fired the shot that killed Osama
Bin Laden, more than three years after the
al-Qaeda leader's death.
Ex-Navy Seal Robert O'Neill, 38, has told the
Washington Post in an interview that he fired
the fatal shot.
This contradicts the account of Matt
Bissonnette, another former Seal involved in
the raid, in a 2012 book.
The al-Qaeda leader was killed in a 2011 Navy
Seal raid on his compound in Abbottabad,
Pakistan.
Navy Seals usually abide by a code of silence
that forbids them from publicly taking credit
for their actions.
Mr O'Neill, who retired in 2012, had previously
told his story anonymously to Esquire
magazine.
He was scheduled to reveal his identity in a
television interview later this month, but news
of the interview angered other former Seals.
A website run by ex-special forces personnel
published his name pre-emptively, apparently
in protest at his decision to claim credit for the
shooting.
Mr O'Neill said he and another member of the
team - whose identity remains secret -
climbed the stairs to the third floor of the
compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan, and saw
Bin Laden poke his head outside the door of
one of the rooms.
President Obama and his national security
team monitored the raid on Bin Laden's
compound
US Navy Seals killed Bin Laden at his
compound in Pakistan in May 2011
The unnamed commando, at the "point
position" leading the column, fired at him but
missed, according to Mr O'Neill.
An instant later, Mr O'Neill went into the room
and killed the al-Qaeda leader with shots to
the head, he says.

Get the medicinal benefits of Tangerines Orange.
Get the medicinal benefits of tangerines.
Tangerine is a specific variant of Mandarin
oranges (Citrus Reticulate) which is reddish
orange in colour. It belongs to the family of
Rutaceae and is cultivated mainly in the
tropical forests of Africa and Asia. It is a
fibrous fruit that peels easily.
In fact, tangerines are currently in their full
season in Nigeria. Most people take them
because they are sweet, not necessarily
because they have potent powers in
preventing diseases such as cancer and heart
diseases.
Nutritionists say that tangerines are not just
tasty and refreshing; they note that the citrus
fruit are packed with medicinal compounds
such as flavonoids, vitamin C, vitamin A,
folate and potassium in significant quantities
that may not be found in other plants.
A nutritionist, Dr. Tosin Akinsanya, says the
exceptional health quality of tangerine is the
fact that it contains compounds that have one
benefit or the other for every part of the body,
from the cell of the body to the vital organs of
the body when taken appropriately.
The nutritionist, who has authored a book on
the cancer prevention properties of the citrus
fruit, notes that two bulbs of tangerine contain
25.5 milligrammes of vitamin C, a potent
antioxidant that suppresses cancer-forming
cells from thriving in the body.
He explains that tangerines also have
flavonoids, which boasts enviable anti-cancer
properties that stop the proliferation of
tumours.
Akinsanya states, “If there is any reason why
we should eat tangerine, it is because of its
role in prevention and management of cancer.
Science has been showing us that the
solution to cancer may eventually be in fruits.
For one, tangerine has flavonoids and
antioxidants that neutralise free radicals,
which are disease-causing molecules in the
body.
Akinsanya adds that the quantity of vitamins
C and A in five bulbs of tangerine is more
than what you can find in any drug
prescribed for the purpose of getting this
nutrient.
Vitamin C is vital to all processes going on in
the body. Akinsanya says this nutrient is
crucial to the synthesis of collagen in the
body. Collagen is also the body of cells that
gather to hold together the tendons,
ligaments, bones and blood vessels and the
muscles of the body.
“Its nutritional components contribute to the
health of all parts of the body, from cell DNA
to the bones and heart. Tangerines are
smaller than oranges, but they pack more
vitamin A and iron, and vitamin C.
“But you have to eat it right. Don’t just drink
its juice and throw the flesh away. More than
80 per cent of its nutrient is in the flesh. Eat it
up to get its full benefits,” he counsels.
Akinsanya says one should ensure that they
take advantage of this seasonal fruit which,
he says, helps lower cholesterol, that is fatty
acid levels, in the body.
Looking at lowering your risk for heart
diseases and other cardiovascular diseases
by reducing your cholesterol levels?
Scientists say you may want to eat more
tangerines, especially its peel.
Bitter, right? But an extensive research by
scientists in the United States and Canada
reveals that a compound called
polymethoxylated flavones found in the peels
of tangerine can lower one’s risk of getting
coronary heart disease by over 50 per cent.
A joint study by the U.S. Department of
Agriculture and KGK Synergise, a Canadian
nutraceutical company, states that tangerine
peel, when eaten in small quantities, has the
potential to lower cholesterol more effectively
than some prescription drugs, and without
side effects.
The finding, which is described in the Journal
of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, notes that
polymethoxylated flavones have striking heart
disease and inflammation prevention
properties.
The scientists, using statistics gathered from
300 clinical trials, believe that this is the first
time science has shown that PMFs can lower
cholesterol; the researchers conclude that
tangerine peels should be recommended as
an option for patients who present with heart
diseases at the clinic.
“Our study has shown that PMFs have the
most potent cholesterol-lowering effect of any
other citrus flavonoid. We believe that PMFs
have the potential to rival and even beat the
cholesterol-lowering effect of some
prescription drugs, without the risk of side
effects.”
While selecting tangerines, always look for the
heavy ones. More weight equals more juice.
Store them in the fridge to retain their
freshness. If you buy too many tangerines at
a go, rinse them off in cold water and dry
them well with a piece of cotton clothes and
store them in the fridge.
Still in doubt of the health benefits of this
fruit? Experts on livestrong.com highlight
other interesting medicinal attributes of
tangerines.
Fibre : Tangerines contain a generous amount
of fibre, a specialised type of carbohydrate.
Each cup of tangerine sections —
approximately two medium tangerines —
provides 3.5 grammes of dietary fibre which
aids digestion and prevent colon cancer.
Your body doesn’t break fibre down into
energy like it does with other carbohydrates;
fibre passes through your digestive tract,
loosening your stool to help keep you regular.
Fibre fights obesity, and it also can help
lower blood cholesterol levels, which in turn
can help reduce your risk of coronary heart
disease. Each bulb-cup of tangerines
provides nine to 14 per cent of the
recommended daily fibre intakes for women
and men respectively, as set by the Institute
of Medicine.
Fights pimples : Tangerine is a good source
of vitamin A. If you are suffering from any skin
diseases, such as acne and pimples, you are
encouraged to have plenty of vitamin A and
apply products that are derivatives of the
vitamin. Hence, tangerine can be a good
option for treating these skin problems.
When it comes to healing wounds and other
damages to the skin, vitamin A is essential
for them, since it helps the skin rebuild
tissues. If you wish to control or remove any
skin ageing symptoms such as fine lines,
wrinkles, or keep dull skin at bay.

An exemplary Nigerian! Dike rejects $7, ,000 World Cup Bonus.
Oklahoma State Football team forward
Courtney Dike has rejected the $7000 paid to
her by the Nigeria Football Federation for
participating at 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s
World Cup in Canada saying the honour of
playing for the country was enough reward
for her.
The 19-year-old, who is the younger sister of
Super Eagles forward Bright Dike,
represented the country at the competition
where she scored the fastest goal in the
tournament’s history.
NFF Head of Competition Sanusi Mohammed
told Sports Radio, Brila FM , that the player
rejected the outstanding allowances accrued
to her for representing the country at the 10-
day tournament.
Sanusi told Brila FM, “When we called her
mother to confirm the delivery of the
allowances, she declined it and insisted that
the opportunity of playing for Nigeria was all
the reward the family needed.”
Dike’s elder brother, Bright, featured for
Nigeria at the 2013 Confederations Cup in
Brazil but missed the 2014 World Cup by a
foot injury which side-lined him for four
months.
Meanwhile, the head of the Nigeria Women
League board Dilichukwu Onyedinma has
said the player deserves a national award for
her patriotic act.
The Women’s league boss told Football live,
a programme on Brila FM , that what Dike did
was worth emulating by other players in the
country.
Dilichukwu told Football live, “She is a star
and patriotic Nigerian who put service to her
fatherland above money. The minister is
aware and we will push the act before the
NFF so it can inspire many others.”
She added, “Doing this with the backing of
her parents, Courtney Dike should be
applauded and perhaps celebrated.”

SHOCKER: Tambuwal is on sniper's list. FG plot to kill him over defection-El - Rufai
SHOCKER: Tambuwal is on sniper list, FG plotting to kill him over defection to the APC –
El-Rufai
A former minister of FCT and governorship
aspirant in Kaduna state under the All
Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2015
elections on Friday accused the Federal
Government of plotting to kill Speaker of the
House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal,
over his defection from the PDP to APC on
Tuesday.
According to El-Rufai, Jonathan was behind
the withdrawal of Tambuwal’s security details,
adding that the speaker was among those on
the snipers list alleged by former President
Olusegun Obasanjo.
El-Rufai said this shortly after picking up his
APC guber nomination forms.
“That was why the Inspector-General of
Police, on the order of Jonathan withdrew the
Speaker security aides,” El-Rufai said, to back
up his allegation that Tambuwal is on the
alleged snipers list.
He said the withdrawal of Tambuwal’s security
personnels was to give the ‘killer squad’ a
clear pathway to assassinate the Speaker for
defecting to the APC.
He however urged the Federal Government to
thread softly and learn from the events in
Burkina Faso.
“The withdrawal of Tambuwal’s security aides
is on the order of the President Goodluck
Jonathan. The IG doesn’t act that way. The
president ordered the IG to order the removal.
Its just the continuation of the Jonathanian
impunity.
“This people have no respect for the law. They
have no respect for rules. They think they are
in power to abuse their control of coercive
instruments of power and we should warn
them that impunity has limits. If anything
happens to Tambuwal(Speaker), the whole
world would hold them responsible.
” He(Speaker) was on the list of those to be
taken out by snipers. So, if anything happens
to him, we know that it was done intentionally
so that this will succeed.
“They should look across Burkina Faso and
see what is happening when a government
overstays its welcome or engages in wanton
impunity. They should learn from history. I
think it is very irresponsible on the part of IG
and the government to do that,” El-Rufai said

Marrying more than one wife in this part of the
