Nollywood actress turned politician, Kate
Henshaw lost out on her bid to become a
member of House of Representatives.
She was going for the Akpabuyo, Bakassi
and Calabar South constituency of Cross
River state ticket under the People’s
democratic party.
The Nollywood actress lost out to incubent
lawmaker, RT Hon Essien Ayi.
The primaries was conducted in an
orderly manner. It was fair n
transparent. Sadly I did not make it.
My congratulations to the winner.
Kate Henshaw accepted the defeat with grace and said:

Henshaw was born in Cross River State,
Nigeria, the oldest of four children. After
completing her primary and secondary
school in Lagos and Calabar
